WHAT HAPPENED?
The Gunners have ensured that they remain in contention to claim a domestic crown on the final day of the 2023-24 campaign. WHAT THE FANS ARE SAYING
With a video doing the rounds on social media of Arsenal readying themselves for the possibility of a title lift taking place, rival supporters have been quick to suggest that the Premier League is writing its own storylines. One of those, @jogo_don, says “this looks scripted”, while @StamfordReacts claims “The most obvious scripted league ever. I’ll be knee sliding every city goal on Sunday”. Another, @Oloye_Ayo, said “City definitely not winning today – Arsenal will win the league, everything looks scripted already”. Plenty of others have, however, laughed off the rehearsal and instead poked fun at the Gunners, with @sakibk13 among those to favour a “banter” theme as he posted: “Thanks for preparing the meme material.”
